In 2012, Texas
experienced one of the driest periods on record for the state and drought
conditions across the South Plains are expected to continue. Hydrate Texas is a
non-profit organization located in Lubbock, Texas. Our mission is to educate
and equip Texas residents with the information and methods needed to preserve
our diminishing water supply. We are currently focused on reaching the
following Texas counties: Bailey, Cochran, Crosby, Dickens, Floyd, Hale,
Hockley, King, Lamb, Lynn, Motley, Terry, Yoakum, Garza, and Lubbock. With
summer approaching, our goal is
to make the rural and urban citizens more aware of the need for water
conservation and methods to improve water management.
